What’s Included
When you download the Newser files from your account. The Main Files contains theme required files. The following list included the files when you download from themeforest.

Theme Installation
Theme Installation
When you download the theme from Account, you will get an archive file in .zip extension. You need to unzip that archive file. The Newsreader-pro.zip file is the Installable WordPress Theme and what you need to use to get the theme installed. Please see the following steps that how to install Newser.
Login to your WordPress Dashboard
Navigate to Appearance > Themes – Click Add new button, located at the top of the screen or Add new theme.
Click on Upload Theme button at the top of the screen.
Choose Newsreader-pro.zip.
Activate the theme after it is completely uploaded. To activate Go to Appearance > Themes and activate the installed theme.
After activating the theme a notice should appear on the top of the screen, click on begin installing plugin and install the Plugins given in this theme.

NewsGreen recommeded few plugins that will need to be installed and activated or you can use somthing better: Visual Composer or Page Builder by SiteOrigin ,SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and Shortcodes Ultimate . These plugins are recommeded one to work for our theme features like shortcodes and shortcode generators and page bulider widgets . When you install NewsGreen, you will get a notification message in your WP admin telling you of the recommeded plugins.

How to Import the Demo Content
To import from a WordPress export file into your blog follow these steps.
How to Use the XML File to Import the Demo Site’s Content:
Log into your site as an administrator.
Make sure you activated your new theme before proceeding.
Go to Tools → Import
Choose "WordPress" from the list.
Upload the demo content .xml (located in the zip package downloaded from account) using the form provided on that page.
You will be asked to map the authors in this export file to users on the blog. For each author, you may choose to map to an existing user on the blog or to create a new user.
You will then have the choice to import attachments, so click on the "Download and import file attachments" box.
Please be patient while WordPress imports all the content. Posts, Pages, Projects, and Menus are imported. You will need assign the menu a theme location & you’ll need to configure widgets. This is a limitation of WordPress’ import system.

How to Set Up a Home Page
1. By default, this theme will display your latest posts on the front page. To activate the Home page as seen in the demo, first create a new page and name it something like "Home Page". As you’re creating this page, select the "Homepage" page template in the Page Attributes box found in the right column. After you publish your page, go to Settings → Reading. For "Front page displays", choose a static page and select your newly created "Homepage" page. Then save your settings.
2. This theme has few custom widgets and shortcode and 20 widgetized areas in which you can use them. You can watch a short screencast, how to do this: 1st choose a template that's call home page template
Step 2 :- Update Primary Color Scheme and Click the Save Setting button.
How To Setup Menu Typography
Step 1 :- Dashboard > Theme options > Typography
Step 2 :- Update Navigation Font and text size and Click the Save Setting button.
Styling & page Settings
NewsGreen includes a backend color picker in the theme options that allows you to easily change the color of any element throughout the entire theme. Simply select the color picker and pick a new color, or insert a hex or rgb number and the new color value will be implemented throughout the entire site.
